The dashboard now shows how much of your site is translated
Anyone maintaining a site in more than one language knows the scene: opening item by item to find out which one is missing a translation. With thirty pieces of content and two languages, that's sixty tabs to check by hand.
What now shows up in the summary
Percentage of content filled in for each enabled language.
List of items missing a translation in the active language.
Content without an image.
Content with a saved title but empty text.
This week's activity, so you can see whether the site moved forward or stalled.
Each item in the list takes you straight to the editing screen, on the tab of the missing language.
Why this changes the routine
The work of maintaining a multilingual site isn't translating, it's remembering what's still left to translate. A new page goes up in Portuguese on a Tuesday, and the French version gets left for later. Two weeks later, nobody remembers it was left behind.
The bar solves this in the simplest way possible: it shows 78% and tells you what the other 22% is.
Where to find it
On the dashboard's home screen, right below the content-type counts. Nothing to configure, it appears automatically for every company with more than one language enabled.
